\nGROSS SALARY BENEFIT PACKAGE for qualifying full-time (40-hour
\nweekly) employees.
\n18% of gross salary is paid by the District and will be dispersed to PERA
\naccording to individual election of the following PERACare health benefits
\nHealth Insurance
\nVision Insurance
\nDental Insurance
\nAny expense beyond the 18% of Gross Salary Benefit Package is the responsibility
\nof the employee.
\nCurrent PERACare information and rates is available from the Finance Librarian.
\nIndividual election for part-time employees for
\nHealth Insurance
\nVision Insurance
\nDental Insurance
\nis available at full cost.

\nOther PERA Benefits
\nAll employees may take advantage of
\nLife Insurance
\nNon-matching 401(k)
\nHowever, the employee is responsible for the full cost of these options.
\nFlextime
\nFlextime (that can be used for personal leave or sick leave) accrues for all
\nemployees scheduled 24 hours or more weekly. Flextime allotted is the ratio of
\nhours worked to full-time.
\nFlextime is granted per the length of service
\n0 through 4 full years of continuous employment:
\n10 hours per month
\n5 through 9 full years of continuous employment:
\n14 hours per month
\n10 or more full years of continuous employment:
\n16 hours per month.
\nCumulated flextime cannot exceed 240 hours per employee.
\nEmployees are responsible for scheduling their flextime, in advance, with their
\nsupervisor.
\nOn leaving employment employees will receive full payout for remaining flextime
\nhours.
\nAirMed coverage is available for all employees
\nReimbursed cost of vaccinations for influenza, COVID-19, pneumonia (and other
\nqualified, to be determined on a case-by-case basis) inoculations is available to all
\nemployees. This does not include travel time or other expenses.

\nHolidays
\nThe Library currently observes the following holidays as flextime holidays for full-
\ntime (40-hours per week) employees:
\n\u27a2 New Year\u2019s Day
\n\u27a2 Memorial Day
\n\u27a2 Martin Luther King Jr. Day
\n\u27a2 Independence Day
\n\u27a2 Spring Break (Coincides with Easter Sunday)
\n\u27a2 Labor Day
\n\u27a2 Thanksgiving Day
\n\u27a2 Friday after Thanksgiving
\n\u27a2 Christmas Eve (close at 2 p.m.)
\n\u27a2 Christmas Day
\nPart-time employees receive time and a half pay for holiday work
\nEmployees unqualified for other leave options generate sick leave at the rate of 1-
\nhour sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours in
\naccordance with the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act
\n(C.R.S. \u00a7 8-13.3-401 et seq.).
\nExcept for qualifications deemed by law, this policy is at the discretion of the
\nemployer. It will be reviewed annually by the Red Feather Mountain Library
